The NET-hUmAIN LAbVisit is an exchange and mentorship program for early career researchers lasting up to two months at Ruhr University Bochum. Interacting face-to-face with researchers from other regions allows to evaluate the tools and methods from the perspective of another context and to come up with an evaluation scheme for user-centered and context-sensitive operations. Tools and methods from the humAIne competence center and the ZESS research building at RUB will be evaluated by international guest researchers against their cultural and industry diverse perspectives. The LabVisit is considered as a starting point for future LabExchange among all partners. For the first LabVisit, David Widder from Cornell Tech (New York City) will visit Ruhr University in June 2024.
